| Description |
English: A 1979 Aston Martin V8 Volante Series 1 (equivalent to a Series 4 Saloon). This car is unusual in being a very early US-spec model, still with the smaller bumpers, and also by being fitted with a five-speed manual transmission. This car sold at the Kensington auction in Southampton, NY, in June 2005. Since then it's apparently seen some hard times, with a cracked front skirt and numerous dents across the bodywork. The interior was shabby in 2005 and in worse shape in 2013 - but it's at a mechanic, so perhaps things are looking up for this lovely motor? |
