English: 1980-1989 GMC Top Kick C7000 single axle dump truck photographed in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The GMC Top Kick was a conventional cab truck slotted between the medium-duty GMC C series and the heavy-duty GMC Brigadier. Although its cab was shared with the medium-duty C series, the Top Kick's sole engine offering—a 10.4 liter Caterpillar diesel V8—required the cab to be lifted, resulting in the unique, boxy front fascia. The name "Top Kick" is often stylized as "TopKick," although every brochure that I could find refers to it as the "Top Kick," with a space. Also, from what I could gather, the "DIESEL 7000" badging that is seen on this one was not used until 1983. I was extremely surprised and happy to see this one still kicking (I apologize) in 2022!
