English: A dead nematode with fungus growing out of it. I sent this image to an apparent expert on nematophagous fungi, and he identified it as Harposporium anguillulae. See this page on the Nematophagous Fungi Guide. This image was taken using my 10× objective and 15× eyepiece. The numbered ticks on the scale are 122 microns apart. The scale of the full-sized version of this image is such that each pixel represents an area that is a 0.282-micron square.
