English: This fits a Gompertz function to the Wikipedia article count trend, using data from Wikipedia:Size_of_Wikipedia#The_data_set, using only data from 2004 onwards for fitting, on the basis that Rambot activity was a sufficiently big influence that it made this early period distinct enough from the post-2004 period to exclude it from the model.
Intended for use to illustrate the data set and trends in Wikipedia:Size of Wikipedia, Wikipedia:Modelling Wikipedia's growth, and similar pages. |
