Summary
| Description |
Oxford White. The fifth generation began with the 2005 model year, and received a facelift in 2010 and again in 2013. The styling was influenced by the 1st generation Mustangs, headlights set back from the grille like the 67, 68 and the fastback roofline like the 65, 66. This 2013 facelift got a new front fascia featuring a larger grille, standard HID headlamps and two LED accent strips adjacent to the headlamp lens. The revised three-lens taillights with LEDs that blink in sequence for turn indication were introduced in the 2010 facelift. It was available in Coupe or Convertible, models were; base, GT, California Special, Boss 302 and of course the Shelby GT500 The GT California Special (GT-CS) from 1968 was 1st reintroduced in 2007 and continued through the 5th generation.
