Summary

Description
English: View of the garden of Roche Court, East Winterslow, Wiltshire, England. Built in 1804-1805 by C.H. Tatham for Francis T. Egerton (originally for Horatio Nelson, who died before the house was completed). In 1994, the London-based New Art Centre relocated here, the family home of the gallery's founder, Madeleine Ponsonby, Countess of Bessborough. New art spaces were added and part of the 70 acres of gardens, woodlands, and pastures became a sculpture park. Photograph taken during an opening at Roche Court Sculpture Park and Gallery.
