Summary

Description
English: Louis McLane House on the NRHP since April 24, 1973, at 606 Market St., Wilmington, Delaware.
  • Old building with remarkable history, especially of those who lived here, especial of Louis McLane, ambassador, cabinet member (under Jackson).
  • Redone, worn down, redone again many times, so that it probably bears little resemblance to the original building, but the 3 dormers on the roof look very much like original drawings.
  • 608 next door is also on the NRHP
