Not a pretty photo, but newsworthy: a LOT of Pacific trailing blackberry (Rubus ursinus - Rosaceae family) on this Alger Alp South Route Trail hike (Washington state). Some were even slightly ripe and worth tussling with the thorns of the Himalayan blackberry above the low trailing canes.
