Description
English: The AMES Type 6 radar was a lightweight and highly portable early warning radar based on the electronics of the ASV Mk. II radar. Packed for transport it was under one ton in weight and could be packed onto a single truck or manpacked over rough ground. This image shows the Mk. III version and the truck used to carry it into the field.
