English: This shows an AOI21 (And-Or-Invert gate with two and one inputs, respectively) implemented in CMOS. On the left side, the realization with a complex gates needs six transistors, two per input. On the right side, the same function is implemented with standard gates: a NAND-gate, and inverter, and a NOR-gate, which needs ten transistors in total.
Deutsch: Dies zeigt ein AOI21 (And-Or-Invert-Gatter mit zwei bzw. einem Eingang) in CMOS. Auf der linken Seite benötigt die Realisierung mit einem komplexen Gatter sechs Transistoren, zwei pro Eingang. Auf der rechten Seite ist dieselbe Funktion mit Standardgattern realisiert: einem NAND-Gatter, einem Inverter und einem NOR-Gatter, was insgesamt zehn Transistoren benötigt.
