English: A 1921 French-made British Legion cotton Remembrance Poppy. Cotton and silk poppies were made by Madame Guérin's widows & orphans in the devastated areas of France. Madame Guérin was "The Poppy Lady from France" and the "Originator of the Poppy Day".
The poppy and the photograph/image are my property. The poppy was made on an unknown date in either September or October 1921; by an unknown person; and the design was not patented.
