A Post Medieval copper alloy coin, Continental.
Description
English: A Modern copper alloy coin:10 reis of the Portuguese in Angola. This design was produced in 1719 under King Joao V and in 1757 under Jose I - the date is under the denomination mark X, if anything is visible there and the name of the king (IOANNES or IOSEPHUS) is round it. The other side reads - money around the whole world.
Obverse: X with crown above and a rose to each side.
Obverse inscription: Illegible
Reverse: Globe
Reverse inscription: PECUNIA TOTVM CIRCVM ORBIS
Dimensions: Diameter: 25.20mm; weight: 1.93g.
