DescriptionA fragment of the painted door from Shalimar Gardens in the Lahore Museum.jpg
English: A panel from the Sikh period wooden door from Shalimar Gardens, now exhibited in Lahore Museum collections. In the refined painted decoration we can see the central motif with birds in antithetical poses, turning towards to the blue and white china flower vase (in other panels there is the fruit bowl in the center), with floral garlands all around.
