Description
English: An ad-hoc Earth oven in Zhuhai. Upon reaching the desired temperature, food wrapped in aluminum foil is placed in it and the hot earth pile is collapsed on top of it to bake the food while retaining moisture. Earth or clay ovens are traditionally used to cook Beggar's chicken but is in this case also used to cook a variety of seafood such as mantis shrimp, as well as vegetables such as corn, yam, and enoki mushrooms.
