Summary

Description

The SVO-NRT through-numbered service taxying to departure. Note it is showing a logo advertising it as the official carrier for the Olympic Games. SU were one of only two airlines permitted to fly to Japan the fastest routing; across Siberia (the other was Finnair). Every other airline followed the Silk Route through South East Asia or via Anchorage.

The Hunting sheds were torn down to make way for LHR's T4.
