English: Aircraft are prepared for launch on the Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Akagi to participate in the second wave of attacks on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The aircraft appear to be warming up as the wings are still tethered to the deck and the deck crews are standing around each aircraft (Parshall and Tully).
