Deutsch: InnoTrans 2016 in Berlin: Der Coradia iLint von Alstom ist der erste Regionaltriebzug der mit Wasserstoff-Brennstoffzellen angetrieben wird. Die Brennstoffzellen sind auf dem Dach montiert. Die Basis für den Zug liefert die bekannte Lint-Familie von Alstom, so das einer Zulassung durch das EBA im Grunde nichts entgegenspricht. Den ersten Einsatz soll der Zug auf der Strecke Buxtehude - Bremervörde - Bremerhaven - Cuxhaven haben und gleichzeitig als Prestigeprojekt dienen. Die Reichweite des iLint liegt mit einer Ladung bei 800 Kilometern und erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 140 km/h. Da Wasserstoff bei jedem Betrieb der chemischen Industrie anfällt, könnte so ein dichtes Netz an Tankstellen entstehen.
