Summary

Description
English: On the web I found: Grand Mosque. It is thought that the mosque was built in 1271 by the Sultan of the Mameluke Baybars. It has a rectangular plan extending in the east-west direction. The courtyard, which is entered through the gates in east and west direction, has a large, stone pavement and a fountain. The high minaret of the mosque, which was built in Ottoman style, was repaired several times. In the construction of mosque and madrasa rooms, smooth cut stone was used.
