Summary

Description

On Monday we had a Bazaar from ancient Persia and today we have an "Arcade" from old Latin meaning "Arcata" - 'arch of a bridge' and taken to mean a market in a series of arches! Todays grand arcade is in Rosscarbery, and has lots of items of interest to draw the eye of the curious.

Apropos yesterdays image, this Mary was reluctant to put it up as we have had a few Poole groups lately but I am so glad I did. Thank you all for a super effort and some great information, I really enjoyed the work. As indeed today's was enjoyable! The Tom Barry connection (which helped with dating) was especially intruiging.....
