Description
Nederlands: Een Armeense bruiloftsstoet is onderweg naar de kerk voor de inzegening van het huwelijk. De muzikanten lopen voorop gevolgd door de bruidegom. Hij wordt vergezeld door een jongeman met een sabel. Dan volgen zijn ouders, de priester en het vrouwelijk deel van het gezelschap met de in rood geklede bruid. Bruid en bruidegom worden voorafgegaan door kaarsdragers. De lange waskaarsen zal het echtpaar na het huwelijk bewaren. Collection: schilderijen; Vanmour serie
