English: Australovenator is the most complete predatory dinosaur discovered in Australia. It was a relatively lightweight megaraptoran theropod, measuring 6 m in length, with a body mass of 500 kg. Australovenator's arms were capable of flexing and extending far beyond any other theropod's range, giving it the ability to grasp prey toward its chest. The slender shape of the skull and relatively weak jaws also suggest that Australovenator primarily used its arms and hands while hunting.
