Original file (1,554 × 2,193 pixels, file size: 1.94 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Description AN AUTOMOBILE OF THE ORIENT. The donkey is the patient burden-bearer of Northern Africa Tunisia just as he is in many other parts of the world. He has carried heavy loads from time immemorial—both passengers and freight—and makes no protest until the accumulation of trouble swells his heart and he seeks relief through an impassioned bray.
