Description Italo John "Babe" Caccia (October 3, 1917 – August 28, 2009) was an American football coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Idaho State University (ISU) in Pocatello from 1953 to 1965, compiling a record of 79–38–2 (.672), and then became assistant athletic director. Caccia was the athletic director at ISU from 1979 to 1986.
