Español: Diversos personajes, vestidos con túnicas o semidesnudos, bailan, beben, comen uvas, tocan instrumentos y se divierten en un entorno ajardinado alrededor de un busto del dios Baco. Al fondo se aprecian varias construcciones clásicas y populares. En esta obra se advierten todas las influencias que recibe la pintura de Houasse. La tendencia academicista de las figuras se mezcla con recuerdos de Poussin, Tiziano o Watteau. Del mismo modo algunos tipos faciales, así como el aspecto cotidiano de la escena, recuerdan la pintura holandesa. También prueba lo cuidado de las composiciones del pintor, con un estudio perfecto de los distintos grupos o figuras y su unión con el conjunto. El pintor logra plasmar perfectamente las delicias del ambiente mitológico. Este tipo de temas estuvo muy de moda entre los coleccionistas del siglo XVIII, siendo Houasse uno de los mejores representantes del género, con obras tan atrayentes como ésta. Forma pareja con el cuadro Ofrenda a Baco (P02268). Ambas se encontraban en 1746 en la colección de la Reina Isabel Farnesio en el Palacio de la Granja.
