Description
Deutsch: Das Seminar- und Tagungshaus „Die Freudenburg“ entstand 1990 - 93 in den Gebäuden des Amtshauses von ca. 1730 und der Amtsschreiberei aus dem 16. Jahrhundert des ehemaligen Amtes Freudenberg. Die verbliebenen Gebäude stehen innerhalb der historischen Befestigungen (Wall und Graben) des früheren Schlosses Freudenberg, das um 1290 als Vogteifeste der Grafen von Oldenburg-Bruchhausen neben dem hochadligen Damenstift Bassum (gegr. um 860) errichtet worden war.
