Summary
| Description |
English: Map of the southern Damascus area during the Battle of Yarmouk Camp (2015), on April 4, 2015. ISIL entered the Yarmouk Camp on April 1, displacing thousands of civilians, and causing battle to erupt between the Syrian Opposition groups present, the Syrian Army, and the ISIL forces, backed by al-Nusra Front al-Qaeda militants. The battle raged until April 20, when ISIL was defeated by the Syrian rebels and driven from Damascus.
