English: Belgrave & Birstall railway station (site), Leicestershire Opened in 1899 by the Great Central Railway on the line from Leicester Central to Nottingham Victoria, this station closed in 1963 and was demolished.
View north towards Rothley and Nottingham. Only the former entrance on the bridge survives. To the south was an island platform. Image taken from the later 'Leicester North' station of the heritage Great Central Railway.
