Summary

Description
English: Bessemer Bend is where the trails headed west (Mormon, California, etc.) crossed the North Platte for one last time. It's really pretty. The nearby bluffs show red rocks, though it's kind of hard to see in the photo. The overcast sky, on the other hand, is caught well by the camera. It's also a great place to ride when the roads aren't muddy.
