Français : Billet de 1 dollar de la Bank of Montreal, 1821. Créée en 1817, la Bank of Montréal devient une banque à charte en 1822 sous le nom de la Banque de Montréal. Ce billet de 1 dollar est imprimé par l’imprimeur américain Reed Stiles and Company. On y voit la figure allégorique de Britannia, personnification féminine de la Grande-Bretagne, entourée d’un navire qui symbolise le commerce et d’une ville qui pourrait être Montréal.
