English: Brixton Road Station (remains). View southward, towards Yealmpton; ex-GWR Plymouth - Plymstock - Yealmpton branch. The station and branch were closed finally to goods on 29/2/60, passenger services having ceased on 4/10/47. The passenger service on the branch had previously been withdrawn on 7/7/30, but was restored on 3/11/41 to cater for people displaced by the bombing of Plymouth. |
