Summary
| Description |
English: A classic Parks Department sign for Libra Triangle / Horsebrook Island, on the east side of Broadway and Justice Avenue north of Queens Boulevard in Elmhurst, Queens. The "Horsebrook" name comes from Horse Brook, a now buried stream which once ran east through Elmhurst along what are now Justice Avenue and the Long Island Expressway towards Flushing Creek. The "Libra" name is for the constellation. A second Horsebrook Island is located east of here near Queens Center and the Newtown High School Athletic Field. |
