English: Exterior of Cafe Monico with a view towards Piccadilly Circus from the north-east. This building was erected in 1888-9 and was designed by architects Christopher and White for Giacomo and Battista Monico who also had premises at 46 Regent Street. The photograph, taken for A C Hutchins, shows wartime propaganda posters on hoardings next door to the restaurant.
