Warna merah pada celana yang dikenakan penari menyimbolkan keberanian rakyat Maluku dalam berperangParang di tangan melambangkan harga diri rakyat Maluku, sedangkan Tameng di tangan kiri merupakan simbol protes terhadap pemerintahan yang tidak berpihak pada rakyat. Untuk iringan musik tarian ini berasal dari alunan alat musik tradisional Maluku seperti Tifa, Suling dan Bia. |
