Summary
editCamp Dennison portrayed on military notepaper by James Gates of Cincinnati. Original image was damaged by soldier (Private John J. McPherson, Company E, 5th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry) drawing indications of the location of his tent and horse stable. The image has been patched using adjacent line drawing segments to remove the graphiti. Letter was written in 1862 on paper printed in 1861.
