Description

Vembakkottai camp in Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu was set up in 1990 to accommodate Sri Lankan refugees. The camp is situated close to a dam which fills up every rainy season. Excess water often seeps into the mostly one-room houses of the camps causing great distress.
