English: Canons Park: The George V Memorial Garden Four clumps of pampas grass (cortaderia selloana) stand at the corners of the pond at the centre of the garden, which was created inside the walls of the former kitchen garden of the estate when management of Canons Park passed to the local authority in 1937. The garden was set out to accord with the Golden Ratio whereby the ratio between the sum of two quantities and the larger one is the same as the ratio between the larger one and the smaller one.
