English: Carlos Waddington (1887/1888-†unknown), son of the Chargé d'Affaires of Chile in Belgium. Killed secretary of the Legation Ernesto Balmaceda on 24 February 1906 in Brussels. He was tried and (despite he confessed the murder) acquitted in July 1907 by a Belgium court.
Nederlands: Carlos Waddington (1887/1888)-†onbekend), zoon van de zaakgelastigde van Chili in België. Doodde op 24 februari 1906 Ernesto Balmaceda, secretaris van de legatie. Hij werd berecht in juli 1907 en (ondanks een bekentenis voor moord) vrijgesproken door de Belgische jury.
