DescriptionCeiling frescoes, Cormac's Chapel, the Rock of Cashel.jpg
English: Cormac's Chapel is a 12th-century Romanesque chapel currently undergoing restoration. It's made of sandstone, which wicks up water, so they're trying to dry it out.
About 20 years ago, a restoration dude was trying to remove some whitewash from the wall when a chunk of masonry fell off. Tuned out he was lucky though, since they found a load of original frescoes underneath. There isn't much left, but you can pick out fragments of stories and scenes.
