Sobre un terreno pedregoso se abre, a la izquierda, un abrupto camino enmarcado entre dos grandes rocas, que se pierde entre los cerros de una cima lejana. Más a la derecha y sobre la línea del horizonte montañoso, se alza la silueta de un torre de vigilancia. A la derecha, zona boscosa (Gutiérrez Márquez, A., Carlos de Haes en el Museo del Prado 1826-1898, Madrid, 2002).
