Built in 1746 as a private house. It was used as Stafford's main post office from 1914 to 2008. According to the Staffordshire Newsletter, in March 2010, it is proposed that the building undergo a �3 million transformation into a restaurant, bar, conference and wedding venue. However this is subject to planning permission being obtained.
