Description
English: Yung Sui (永绥) is a large river gunboat commissioned by ROCN. It survived the WWII. In 1949, the ship rebelled along most of ROCN's second fleet and served under PRC's flag. In the same year, it was sunk by ROC's B-25 bombers. The photo is taken in 1929 by ROCN naval photographer.
中文:永绥号炮舰,上海江南造船厂建造,1929年完工;排水量600吨,最高航速18节。装备6吋主砲一门,4.7吋砲一门,3吋砲三门,机枪四挺. 由于湖南曾出资协助建造本舰,故以该省之地名永绥为本舰命名。本舰亦是少数能随国府撤退到内地并保留全身至战后的军舰。1949年4月23日,永绥舰宣布起义,加入了华东军区海军。1949年9月23日,被国军的B-25轰炸机击沉。 这是永绥号在1929初完工后不久的照片。
