In the middle of the two columns, the wall is interrupted by a fancy door that serves as the entrance to Brown Library. Through the door we see an information desk. The door has a label, "Library," above it. Above that is artistic writing flanked by two copper-colored figures. Above the architectural trim is an arch that meets the ceiling, which is a skylight with yellow- and blue-toned artificial white lights.
