    Summary

    Description
English: Roadmap of the parallel development of the Newtonian and variational principles approaches to classical mechanics. The physicists who contributed to it include Newton, Leibniz, Euler, Lagrange, Hamilton, and Jacobi. Classical mechanics forms the cornerstone of modern physics.
