Clinton Hall, built in the 1920s, was once a vibrant social hub in Maspeth, featuring wrap-around balconies and grand chandeliers that illuminated numerous dances and celebrations. Today, it serves as a laboratory and industrial space, a stark contrast to its lively past1.
The hall is named after Governor DeWitt Clinton, a key figure in New York’s history, who planned the Erie Canal from his retreat in Maspeth.[1]
