English: Coastal steamship Maiambar, built by Ardrossan Dry Dock & Ship Building Co in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1910 for the North Coast Steam Navigation Co of Sydney, New South Wales. In 1920 she was lengthened from 155.6 ft to 175.6 ft. In 1940 while under tow she broke her tow line and ran aground off Newcastle, New South Wales. She could not be refloated and was scrapped in situ.
