Description
English: Overview of the Colonel Crawford Capture Site, located on the northern side of the old Lincoln Highway immediately east of Leesville in Jefferson Township, Crawford County, Ohio, United States. Here was Colonel William Crawford captured in 1782 by Indians, who burnt him at the stake a week later. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
