Summary

Description
English: The U.S. Navy Consolidated XB2Y-1 (BuNo 9221) at the NACA Langley Research Center, Virginia (USA), on 29 June 1934. The XB2Y-1 was a Consolidated answer to a Navy request for a two-seat biplane dive-bomber. However, the U.S. Navy ordered the Great Lakes XBG-1. Like many other Naval aviation would-bes, the XB2Y-1 made its way to the NACA at Langley where it was used along with other aircraft in a pilot's field of view study.
