English: Cors-y-Gedol Gatehouse. Cors-y-Gedol mansion was built in 1576 by Richard Vaughan. Following the fashion of the day, a gatehouse was added in 1630. This, possibly, is the finest gatehouse in North Wales, other examples being mostly vernacular in style. The main house has been added to over the centuries.
