English: Statue of (a) Sir Ranulph Crewe (1558–1646 AKA Randolph Crew) (left) and (b) Bigot de Loges (mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086, and the first Norman to hold the Manor of Sandbach) (ref) (right), together with the Coat of Arms of the Right Honourable Hungerford, Lord Crewe (1858–1945), who donated the Sandbach Town Hall (with statues) to the Town; it was designed by Thomas Bower (1838–1919) of Nantwich, and built by John Stringer in 1889/90)(ref)
