DescriptionD'Avolio Kitchen - fmr Philip J. Snyder House - Williamsville, New York - 20200818.jpg
English: D'Avolio Kitchen, 5409 Main Street, Williamsville, New York, August 2020. Named an official historic landmark in 2014 by the Village of Williamsville Historic Preservation Committee, this two-and-a-half-story brick edifice is a relatively intact example of a converted Italianate-style house, built in 1877 for local grocer Phillip J. Snyder (1838-1895) and his family and sporting handsome Eastlake detailing on the front porch and abundant round-arched windows. The building's conversion from residential to commercial occurred in the 1960s; current tenant D'Avolio opened in 2010 as a boutique selling gourmet olive oils, vinegars, and other Italian-American specialty foods and began offering restaurant service a couple years later.
